Since graduating from HU in '92, I have had the opportunity to hold leadership positions in several industries. I started my professional career in commercial insurance as an Underwriter. From there, I continued my studies and earned an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. After graduation, I went on to spend 4 1/2 years at one of the most innovative companies in the world at the time - Enron Corp. At Enron, I worked on various projects and across different groups, such as, new business development, financial/risk analysis, capital structuring, risk management Underwriting Manager, and Director of Commodity Structuring. The projects I worked on at Enron covered the utilities industry (natural gas and electricity, oil, pulp and paper, emissions, retail, and hospitality. Upon leaving Enron, I served as a Sr. Portfolio Manager for a real estate investment fund for 8 years.
