Sandy attended elementary school in Washington at Fifth Street and Locust Street Schools. She was a member of the Brownies and Girl Scouts. She worked at Hazel in Washington. She married Jerald “Rusty” Saunders. Sandy was the mother of 2 children, a daughter, Alicia, and a son, Andrew. As her children grew older and were in school, Sandy took education classes. She and her family lived in Washington, MO.
