Mr. Marvin L. Satterthwaite, 45, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, in Cocoa, Fla. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Temple of Jesus Christ United Church in Washington with pastor Anthony Saxton of Rochester, N.Y., officiating. Mr. Satterthwaite was born Nov. 11, 1961, in Beaufort County. He was the son of Evalena Satterthwaite and Marvin “Red” Little. He graduated from Washington High School. His employment was with NASA in Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was married to Jackie Roberts Satterthwaite, who survives. Survivors include two daughters, Lashana Satterthwaite and Danielle Satterthwaite, both of Cocoa, Fla.; two brothers, Tyrone Satterthwaite of Washington and Taquan Little of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four sisters, Veronica S. Chapman of Newport News, Va., Tadra Satterthwaite of Washington, and Hilda Little and Evelyn Little, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and one grandchild. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Tadra Satterthwaite, 989 W. Ninth St., Washington. Local arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
