Obituary Condolences

 

Lawrence Lee Grant "Chip" Chip Grant (Lawrence Lee), soldier, husband, father and son - avid skier and sports car driver, passed away October 20, 2007. Chip served honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany not too far from where he was born of a military father. He provided for his family while his wife went to school. He always maintained an outstanding work ethic, was never late, always pushing hard. He loved his children very much and lived simply so he could attend their events and give them gifts. He also helped care for his parents. Chip never missed a ski season and enjoyed driving always. Survived by his mother, Robertine P. Grant of Salt Lake; brother, Robert G. Grant of Salt Lake; son, Morgan P. Grant, Sgt. U.S. Army, deployed; and daughter, Elizabeth A. Grant of Salt Lake. "May you rest in peace and God bless. You will be missed." Friends and family are invited to Chip's viewing Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street.
