The ASH Alumni Association is so sad to share the news of the sudden passing of John Wieja Jr., Class of 1994, son to John and Pat Wieja, both who worked at ASH for many years, and brother to Emily, also an ASH Alumni.
The following message was shared by his close friend, Tyrone Siren:
"To all his friends in China, Holland, America, and around the world. John Wieja (Jr.) died on Christmas morning 2017 in Zhuhai China. Along with another close friend, I found John only minutes after speaking with him on the phone. I know many of you knew him longer than I did, but over the past 7 years, John became a great friend and I dare say even part of my company's family, always at events and working with us. We had similar interests and intersecting life points; We both played drums, we both went to school in Holland at the same time and we both ended up in South China. I was lucky to know him. I know many of you can share this news more than I can, but I hope you can share with his friends and family this very unfortunate news. Let's keep spreading the word, so people will send support, comfort and love to Pat and John."
