I knew John from Kindergarten as we both attended and graduated from Aptos Elementary bwefore attending WUHS. He sas a friend, a teammate on youth teams, and a generally good guy. Boy, could I tell some stories about some of our youthful exploits.
RIP John. You will be missed by many of your survivors in this class.
John, Dave Shaffer, Larry Wrathall and I all went from Kintergarten through 8th grade at Aptos Elementary. I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing and am grateful for having him as a friend for all these years. We all went on to Watsonville and had 4 more great years there. Here's a picture of John and Ralph Ramaris at the reunion at Jalisco's in Watsonville on August 23rd, 2025. A lot of us 80 year olds attented!
