It is with much sadness that I report the passing of a great man, Dave Mercer. Dave and I grew up as neighbours from 7th grade on and spent many hours studying at each other's house or shooting baskets in his driveway. It played sports together all through high school and took turns driving each other to and from school and after school practice. Dave was a wonderful individual. He was very smart in academics, but he excelled in all sports he participated in. Dave was also a very kind and gentle person who always had something good to say about everyone! I join the Mercer Family in sharing the grief of losing a great man and a great friend.
