Vicky was a dear friend from high school until the end of her life. A generous person with a kind heart who loved life to the fullest. As our children grew, we shared endless conversations about family. Our visits were always special. She met the challenges of polycystic kidney disease head on with no complaint. She worked as long as she could and she and her husband Greg found a way to make travel possible. Family was important to her. She loved her girls, grandchildren, and husband, not thinking of herself as she was passing, but concerned about them living life without her. I still think of her often, and in her memory, always plant Victoria Salvia in our flower garden. Vicky does not have a grave site to visit. Her wish was for her ashes to be spread in a friend's wildflower garden. Six months after she passed away, her wish was granted.
