I really got to be closer to Tom after the high school years and he was a real caring person. Always asking about my family and how my children were doing. I miss talking to him every once and a while. Scott Park

Something I remember about Tom is that it seemed he would try anything once. I hate to resurrect this memory, but it is a classic. On a dare, and with money to back it up, Tom ate a frog. Alive. And with his mouth open so that all could see Tom was really chewing it. He swallowed that frog, collected his money, and then threw up. Who can blame him? I hope my own two boys do not get it in their heads to emulate this legendary feat. That Tom Fahrni...See Ian Chalgren's profile for some nice pictures of Tom (not eating the frog, though).

I never really knew Tom well in school. We got acquainted after the 5 year reunion and started hanging out. After a few more years he moved to Milwaukee and lived about a mile away from me so we got together often. He was going back to school for nursing. He would have been a great nurse because he was such a perceptive and kind person. He was also a lot of fun! We had a lot of laughs and I think of him often, whenever I drive by his old flat. Tom you are missed!
