Susan Ziert (March)

I have such fond memories of Lyza (then known as Lee) Engel from high school.  We were in all the dance groups and on-stage dance performances together throughout our high school years.  Although we lost touch after graduation, I clearly remember her laugh, smile, and joy of life and life's adventures!  I can imagine how she continued to live her life in the same way, spreading her joy and shining her bright light!  My deep sympathy to her family who, I know, are missing her terribly.  Her light will continue to shine through you!

Even during her battle she still always had her great laugh, smile, encouraging word, and a fight that was amazing.  I was fortunate enough to join her in TX for a visit back in Oct. 2019. I will miss her.  Lee was one of my first friends when I moved to Wauwatosa and we were in 9th grade at Longfellow.  She was an amazing friend.  My heart goes out to her family and all the other people who will be missing Lyza.
