I graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering May 1972 with BSEE degree.

I worked for Louis Allis Drives and Systems (now Magnatek) as a drives systems design engineer from 1972 to 1977.

I worked for Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a drives systems design engineer, sr design engineer, project engineer and sr projent engineer from 1977 until retirement October 2013. I worked on developing engineering tools and automation software to lower engineering costs and reduce errors. I also traveled to different Rockwell sites around the world training design engineers on the use of the engineering automation software.

My hobbies are hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, ham radio WA9RUD.

My wife Lucy (McDonald) graduated from Catholic Memorial HIgh School in 1967 and she attended UW Oskosh and then Milwaukee County School of Nursing where she got her Registered Nurse degree in 1971.

Kids complain about dress codes now but I remember being sent home because I had dress 'jeans' on and not dress 'slacks'.


Phil Flick, John McCoy, Tom Fenno (a Jr) and I started the ham radio club. Mr. Rone was our advisor. We had paper drives to make money to buy a transmitter and receiver and made our home in the tower. We were able to put up a what is called a dipole antenna from the tower down to the roof to use. It was a great place to get away during study hall.
