I remember that if you got Mr Elliott talking about basketball or flying just before the bell rang, he would forget about handing out homework, usually.

I was remembering just recently the Air Science class that Mr. Elliott taught. What an opportunity for students at a small, rural high school in southern Illinois to be given the opportunity to earn our aviation ground school certificate. I was given the opportunity to teach at WCHS while Mr. Elliot was there. Then i got to know him as a friend. He was a great person.
