Rocky Gammon died in Belleville, IL at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 1994, following a lengthy illness. He was a laborer.  Mr. Gammon was the son of Leroy and Sheryl Gammon, of Wayne City..

Funeral rites were conducted Monday, October 31st from St. Justin's Catholic Church in St. Louis County, Missouri.  Graveside rites followed Tuesday afternoon at Olive Branch Cemetery south of Wayne City. 

Rocky was born in Wayne County, August 8, 1959.  Preceding him in death were his grandparents and one brother.  Surviving are his parents, Leroy and Sheryl Gammon of Wayne City; one daughter, Melisa; one brother, Jay Gammon, of Wayne City; and two sisters, Tonya Dalton, of Fairfield, and Rachel Gammon, of Wayne City.
