Bill F. Cotton, 70, of Fairfield, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at 8:40 a.m. in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Bill was a retired school teacher from Wayne City High School, and life-long horseman and trainer. Services were held at Johnson Funeral Home and burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.
Bill was born on August 25, 1935 in Evansville, Indiana to Fred and Mildred Kitmeyer Cotton. He married Sheila Savage on March 28, 1958, who preceded him in death. Mr. Cotton was an active member of Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He also belonged to the United States Trotting Association.
Survivors include one son, Phillip Cotton, Fairfield; two daughters, Shana Bradfield, Paris, and Bonnie James, Henderson, Ky; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
