OMG...This news is very, very sad...   I remember Jeff very well... He was one of my High School buddies.  He was so much fun and had the greatest sense of humor.  If someone has any information regarding his passing, please share.  Another Soul greats the heavens...Rest in Peace Jeff.

I'm sorry it took me so long to write this. I didn't think of the website as a place to share my shock and grief at the news of Jeff's death. He was my childhood friend.

Jeff was my neighbor and best friend growing up. I went on trips up north with him and his family as a child. We camped out in each other's back yards in the summer. We would sneak out at night and ride the streets on our modified bikes. He was a master of the "wheely" and rode all the way down Forest Ave. on his back wheel.  We counted the "squares"/lines in the pavement as he rode.  He was one of the fastest runners I ever knew. We walked the  neighborhood fences, hunted the woods and fields, and rode bikes to Greenfield Village, the airport(to play billiards) , and Westland Mall.

When I heard of his death, I talked to a mutual friend who is in Wayne and was still in contact with him. Jeff had serious health problems, had withdrawn, and was found on the floor of his house on Annapolis St.

I had not seen him since the early '80's . I still feel a hole even though we had not remained in contact . I share/shared a lot of memories with him and my other childhood friends .

I was in Detroit last week and saw a whiffle bat and ball at Jack White's and thought of him and other childhood friends .
