Tim Hughes

TIM HUGHES, 53, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he work-ed as safety director of driver services with Specialized Transportation, Inc. since 2004 and with North American Van Lines from 1984 to 2004. He coached P.A.L. football for several years, enjoyed photography and was an avid Colts fan. Surviving are his wife, Sherri Hughes of Fort Wayne; children, Nathan, Landen and Lauren Hughes, all at home; parents, George and Janet Hughes of Centreville, Md.; sisters, Kathy (Bruce) Wesbury of Waldorf, Md. and Linda (Tom) Levesque of Dallas, Texas; brother, Scott (Kim)Hughes of Norman, Okla.; in-laws, Don and Juanita Herring of Upland, Ind.; and 10 neices and nephews. Service is 3 p.m. Friday at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Rick Hawks and the Rev. Mick Baker officiating. Calling also from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road.
