Dave Ploch

PLOCH, David M. David M. Ploch, 47, of Hampshire Place, Cromwell, CT, husband of Elaine (Lampkin) Ploch, died suddenly on Monday (August 29th, 2005) at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. Born in Pompton Plains, NJ, he was the son of David W. and Margaret P. (Tomes) Ploch of Nashua, NH, and had lived in Cromwell for 18 years. He was a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlise, PA, Class of 1980 and was employed at Cigna in Hartford for many years. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Wethersfield. Besides his wife of 18 years and his parents, he is survived by a son, Michael A. Ploch of Cromwell; a daughter, Karen A. Ploch of Cromwell; two sisters, Amy Zapp of Hollis, NH, Jane Natches of Hollis, NH; a niece; three nephews; a grandmother; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the First Church of Christ, Wethersfield on Friday, September 2nd at 11 a.m. The Rev. J. Jey Deifell, Jr., minister, will officiate and interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell, on Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. and are invited to send a message of condolence to the family at the website of www.doolittlefuneralservice.com In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
