SMITH, Janet, grew up in Wayne, N.J. and moved to Tampa in 1979. She graduated from U.S.F. with a degree in Education and went on the have a 20 year plus career at CitiBank. She fell in love with South Tampa in the early 80's and has lived there since. Janet enjoyed doing home improvements, walking, reading and being with friends. Janet died at home Saturday, April, 19, 2003. She leaves behind her mother, Anne Smith of Del Ray Beach; her brother, Mark Smith of Mahwah, N.J.; her life partner, Matt Fritz of Tampa; Matt's extended family; and many loving friends from South Tampa and beyond. The family will receive fr iends at the MacDill Avenue Chapel Wednesday one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1001 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33629.
