We are gonna really miss Dewey. He was like the father figure to our children. We are still thinking of him. Continue to remember Janie in your prayers. He was such a fun guy. He was also a caring person. We all go back beyond 1964. Do you remember his 1965 Mustang that he got to take Janie to the prom in. He was really kool in that beautiful silver car. We will always love Dewey and he will forever be in our memories.
Dewey and I became really close after the high school years when he married my cousin, Janie. In high school I knew Dewey as the wild, carefee, boy who loved the girls; but over the years, he became the wise, caring, and serious man who loved and adored his family and friends. We talked on many occasions about all subjects, I found him to be quite knowledgeable and understanding concerning situations of the world. Our friendship grew along with my admiration and love for him. We will miss his physical presence, but the memories will be present for life. Our prayers are with Janie, Dexter, and the family that we will get through this rough time, as the songwriter has written: "This, too, shall Pass." Thomasina
