Waynesville - Brandy Lynn Caldwell, 30, of 57 Stonecrest Heights, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Gary Caldwell with whom she resided and the late Francis Elene Frady Caldwell. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Caldwell; great-grandmother, Alma Maney and grandparents, Logan and Bonnie Frady.

Brandy was a 2001 graduate of Tuscola High School. She was an employee of Haywood Vocational Opportunities, and had recently received a 10 year certificate of employment. Brandy enjoyed her stuffed animals, going to Lake Chatuge, listening to her music and watching movies. She was a member of Ninevah Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her father is her step mother, Debbie Caldwell of Waynesville; grandmother, Wilene Caldwell of Waynesville; step grandmother, Betty Caldwell of Waynesville; a sister, Michelle Mathews and her husband, Steve Messer, of Waynesville; a niece, Emily Messer; a nephew, Adam Messer; three aunts, Jaurell Fish and her husband, Edwin, of Clyde, Gloria Fisher and her husband, Bill, and son, Jimmy Fisher, of Waynesville and Sherrill Cooper and her husband, Desi, of Canton; uncle, David E. Conner Jr. of Waynesville; and special caregiver, Jana Sherrill.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Ninevah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
