Karen Lee (Stewart) Salyers, 51 of Ruther Glen, VA formerly of Colliers, WV passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.

She was born on September 14, 1961 a daughter of Neil Stewart of Weirton, WV and Linda Stewart of Colliers, WV.

Karen graduated in 1980 from Brooke High School. She was Nazarene by faith. Karen worked as a dispatcher with Ward’s Truck Center in Woodbridge, VA. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to her parents she is survived by three sisters her twin sister, Kaye (Stewart) Scroggins, Ruther Glen, VA, Cherri Stewart and Lisa Cymbor both of Arizona Four brothers, Bud Stewart, Weirton, WV, Mark Stewart, North Carolina, Tom (Theresa) Stewart, Colliers, WV, and Chris (Tiff) Stewart, Follansbee, WV Several nieces and nephews among them, Janie (Zeeshan) Jeffers, Christine (Mike) Torrence, and Stephanie (James) Scroggins Several Great niece and nephews among them, Halle, Laylah, and Aston,
