STARINSKY, Michael, 53, of Houston, TX, formerly of Follansbee, WV, died March 31, 2015, in Houston after a six month battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 3, 1961, in Steubenville, to John Starinsky, Sr. of Jewett, OH and the late Mary K (McCoy) Starinsky.
Michael was a graduate of Brooke High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army from 1983-1987 as a Tank Crewman in Fort Hood, Texas. He was self employed as a Mechanical Engineer/Industrial Designer .
Besides being survived by his father, John and stepmother Brenda Starinsky of Jewett, OH; he is also survived by his son, Christopher Michael Starinsky of Houston, TX; five brothers; John P (Charlene) Starinsky Jr., of Jewett, OH; Luke (Evelyn) Starinsky of Loganville, GA; Matthew (Vicki) Starinsky of Columbus, OH, Mark (Cassandra) Starinsky of New Albany, OH and William J Logan, of Toronto, OH; one sister; Mary (James) Oblin of Westerville, OH and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial and funeral will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
