Jack Allen Metz, Jr. 51 of Wellsburg, WV passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 7, 2013.

He was born on September 5, 1962 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Jack Allen Metz, Sr. and Sonya (Kanick) Metz with whom he resided.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother, James Metz and a sister, Susan M. Metz.

He graduated from Brooke High School in 1980. Jack was a self-employed contractor having owned and operated Metz Construction. He later worked for Kopper’s Industries in Follansbee, WV. He was a member of the Wellsburg Moose Lodge #1564.

In addition to his mother he is survived by three daughters whom he adored, Jennifer (Corey) Smith of Morgantown, WV, Dannielle (Ronald Allen III) Maderia of Follansbee, WV, and Rachel Metz of Wellsburg, WV Two brothers, Douglas Metz of Tupelo, MS and Thomas (Leslie) Metz of Follansbee, WV Two grandsons, Gavin Smith and Brayden Maderia Several nieces and nephews
