In Remembrance of Marlo Lynn McMullen
October 18, 1976 ~ March 18, 2002
Thought it’s been 11 years, we still miss you, Marlo. That spring morning, as your dad was in the hospital fighting for his life, it was you heart that gave up at home when you were only 25. We think of you, our firstborn, often. We wonder what you would be doing today at age 36. A baby girl, born after your death to our longtime ranch worker, Jose, and his wife, was named “Marlo” in your honor. Your dog, Percy and cat, PeeWee, have passed on, too, but the new family pets are a constant reminder of your love for furry, four-legged critters. How we wish you could have achieved your dream of being a teacher. But hundreds of books, labeled as donated in your memory, are now circulating in local elementary schools. Your bright spirit, enthusiasm, work ethic, and caring ways remain as our special memories.
