Joe was real big into horses. I remember lots of horse sales & shows with Joe & his Daddy there...he will always be remembered as a good ole' country boy to me. He was always polite to me but was always soft spoken & shy. I still see him in his pickup truck, blue jeans, & cowboy boots. Joe is greatly missed.
I remember days after his death and how the whole school at Zebulon High was affected. They brought counselors in for students to talk to if need be. I still have thoughts of him and several other of our young and dear friends that either passed away then or since. Life is such a precious gift.
