Just a heads up.

We will need everyone who will be attending reunion events to fully register and purchase celebration tickets before August 31st.

We need to have a head count for the picnic and the HUSH celebration party by the 1st of September.

Celebration tickets for the reunion weekend will be mailed out starting in 2 weeks as everyone begins to finalize the registration process.

If everyone would give another go at contacting any of our classmates who have not signed on to the site. We just want to make sure that everyone is aware of our 10 year reunion.

Hope it was a nice Holiday Weekend for all!!! Just wanted to check in with a couple details and answer a few questions we have had as of recent.

-First it is not to late to register. 

We were hoping that with an earlier registration date we would be able to get some kind of head count. So please continue to sign up for the weekend events. If anyone would be kind enough to put a reminder on Facebook it would be greatly appreciated. Just in an effort to reach out to anyone we may have missed. We want to make sure we give it one last push to reach out to our classmates. We have had plenty of interest, but need folks to commit. So please continue to sign up.
-For the picnic...children are FREE. We can't thank everyone enough...and please keep any questions, suggestions or ideas coming.

East Wake High School Class Of 2000

Well, we hope everyone is ready....we have some exciting stuff in store for the weekend:0)  Things have changed slightly because we still have folks signing up.  If you are considering attending the Celebration, please let us know as soon as possible.  It is pretty important that everyone is accounted for.  That being said, below are some specific details that will hopefully answer any questions that may have been asked.

Friday Night:  EWHS Football Game

East Wake has changed drastically since we were there.  Remember the tennis courts?  They're gone, but that location is the easiest place for us to turn Right and Park.  A lot of people will be coming from out of town/work and may be arriving late.  I have been assured that this would be the most convenient area for our group.  When entering the game, we will be met by a greeter who will Pin us and show us our designated seating.  We are actually sitting in the first set of bleachers with the graduating class of 1978 (the first class to graduate EWHS).  We will have our own area sectioned off.  They are going to announce our group at halftime.  If everyone would please make their way down to the End Zone Tent with 3 minutes to go until the Half, we will take the field, give some waves, and then have some cake:)  I think they are excited about our little Homecoming.

Following the game, we will have our get together at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Everyone is free to come and go as they please.  BW3 knows we are coming, but unfortunately couldn't take any type of reservation.  I'm sure we can make it work!

Saturday Afternoon:  Wendell Park

Please follow Third Street all the way to the back of the park.  Our picnic shelter is the larger one located directly next to the playground.  The only thing you need to bring to the picnic is you and your family.  Feel free to bring a frisbee, soccer ball, or cornhole, if you wish.  Food, drinks and fun are included.  This will start at 11:00am and go till around 1:00pm. Again, the kids are free so please bring the little ones.

Saturday Night: HUSH - New Name UNION (same location)

Allison Pearce (Williams) has helped so much with the planning for Saturday night.  We just can't thank her enough.  There will be an area designated for us to park.  And once you arrive, we will have you and your guests' information waiting for you.  Since people have continued to sign up (which is wonderful), we decided this would be the best way to make sure the mail didn't miss anyone.  It is going to be a big time!!!

Hopefully, this gives some of the specifics and helps to clear things up. We can't wait for everyone to be together and we still have a couple surprises in store.  See you this weekend!
