I recieved a note from Dano's wife, Mary, that Dano passed in November 2014.  When asked she sent the following information on his life.

Here is a little bio on Dano.  He had three daughters and one son.  Dano and I were married 34 years and lived in Tennessee for 18 of those years.  I am his second wife and our daughter is the youngest.   With his first wife, Nancy, they had Dano, Heidi, and Heather and then Edie with me.  And he has 8 grandchildren.  While we lived in Tennessee we were involved a lot with helping the head start program for children.  He loved doing that, he even played Santa for a while at Christmas.  We did that together for over 12 years.  Lots of fun and good times.  He was a laid back sort of guy, kids and dogs loved him!  He would even admit to that if he were here!
