In Memory

Barry Farnworth

Barry Farnworth

Barry sailed off into the sunset on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the age of 77.  Beloved husband of Barbara.  Loving father of Bradley (Stephanie), Melissa (Marty) and Valerie (Michael).  Dear grandfather of Alexander, Adriana (Morgan), Samantha (Daniel), Connor, Dylan, Brandon. Jocelyn and Kaden.  Proud great-grandfather of Hudson and Maci.  Loving son of Fred and Helen.  Dear brother-in-law of Diane and Fred.  Dog-father of Cher Barry.  Barry will also be remembered by other relaties and friends.

Barry proudly served on the New Berlin volunteer Fire Department in his younger days.

Barry ("Honey Bear" To his closer friends) loved to tinker with things and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix.  As one of the founders of Trident Sales and Service almost 50 years ago, Barry helped to design and produce one of the first truck mount carpet cleaning machines - The Barracuda.

Barry was a self proclaimed expert on the Hoover Dam and spent many hours each week tending to his yard, gardens and spending time with the wildlife.  He will be missed by his family as well as furry and feathered friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Arbor Day Foundation or The National Wildlife Federation in Barry's name are appreciated.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin, from 2-4 p.m.

I remember riding with Barry to Central in the cab of his dad's truck when weather was bad and going out on week ends and during the summer to the shop in Muskego to help/goof around. Barry had an old Model A that was reduced to a tractor like open vehicle to which he added an extra seat for me to ride on.

Does anyuone else remember the 1939 Packard roadster that he restored. Deep maroon with a rumble seat and dual fendermount spares? Can't count the number of counties we searched to find the hubcaps to complete the look.

I don't know of a kinder soul. Rest easy friend.

Learning this sad news hit hard.  He was a childhood friend.  We had a lot of fun together which included his patrticipation in my earliest movies.  I will miss him.  Rest in peace dear Barry.
