Alison Luedtke Marlett of Brevard, NC, passed away in the early morning hours of December 7, 2020 at Solace-CarePartners. She was the daughter of the late William George and Faith Dalrymple Luedtke. Alison was born in Milwaukee, WI and retired from Clemson University where she taught accounting for 30 years. She was an advid reader and enjoyed learning and traveling with her husband, Wayne. She was a wise soul and generous spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Douglas Marlett; her beloved daughter, Rachel Margaret Drews; her wonderful 3 brothers, Bill, Paul and Robert and their families; her cousins on both the Luedtke and Dalrymple sides; and life-long friends.
Alison was a member of the UU Church and choir in Brevard. She had a beautiful voice to match her kind heart. We will miss her dearly.

It is sad to learn of the passing of Allson. I knew Allison all through McKinley grade school and high school. She was a very sweet and kind person. My condolences to her family. We are losing too many of our classmates. It would be nice to get together again soon. Rest in peace Allson.

I also knew Alison since 1st grade at McKinley. We shared many classes over the years. She was a good friend and it is sad to learn of her passing.
