This information is from Jim's sister, Patricia Duffy Consolazione:
"Sadly, in September 2011, Jim was killed in a motorcycle accident near his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, when a car pulled out in front of him.
Jim enlisted in the US Army shortly after graduation. He made the Army his career for just under 38 years, retiring as an E-3, a rank as high as he could go as an enlisted man. Jim was stationed in Germany when he met and married Sigrid Langner; they have two sons. Most of Jim's career was spent between Germany, Italy, and the US. Jim worked with soldiers in crisis, and after retirement, for 15 years was a "Patriot Rider" who escorted many of our servicemen to their final resting place. Jim was my baby brother; I still love and miss him dearly. I know Jim treasured his days and friends at Holy Assumption and West Allis Central."
Patricia wishes us a successful 50th reunion.

Jim lead an honorable life and helped comfort many military families. I remember him from my first days at Holy Assumption. He was funny and always kind and nice.

I often wondered what happened to a Jim and hoped he would show up on Classmate Profiles. Jim and I walked to school together for a couple of years, we also double dated to several school dances our junior and senior year. After graduation we kind of lost touch with each other going our separate ways. I did not expect to see Jim show up in the in the “memory section” of class creator. I enjoyed the times we spent together Including a couple of weekend trips to Lake Mills where his parents had a getaway place. Rest In Peace old friend.
Cheri Marlatt (Teppo)
So sorry to hear of our loss of Jim.

Very sad news. I knew Jim well. We were in cub scouts together and his mother was our den mother. A kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace my old friend.

So sorry to hear that we have lost yet another centralite - looks like he spent years protecting all of us - what a great honor to have been served by him.
