Retired 3 1/2 years now from my last job at Wauwatosa Public Schools as a sign language interpreter. Had the privilege of sharing school life with 4 different students for the past 25 years. Relearned everything I didn't learn as a kid and feel like I graduated 4 more times. LOVED my job but every day still feel like I am playing hooky. Currently providing childcare for our little granddaughter every other day. Having a blast with that while it lasts!

Think about Miss Muth's Modern Dance Class every time I now go to Zumba.
I had the best time with that group of girls and would love to see you all again. Muth purposely scheduled the class before lunch so we could run late if needed. We'd be famished after leaping around the gym for 1+ hours and were usually last in the hot lunch line. The lunch ladies liked girls like us who could eat so they would wait for us and then pile high the spaghetti, hot rolls, or whatever else they needed to get rid of that day.

Liked to swim but did not like having pool first hour. The pool room was so dank and drippy on a cold winter's morning. Then I'd have to spend the rest of the day with wet hair, wet neckline, burning, bloodshot eyes, and smelling strongly of chlorine. Remember the horrible gym-issued swimming suits? I remember Judy Janoska as a good, strong swimmer and I always wanted her on my water polo team so we'd "dominate."

Loved the Pep Band and thought they were the greatest, especially on the bus rides to rival school games.
