Janet C. Uhlman (nee Kane), 74, of West Bend found peace on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
She was born on October 10, 1946, to the late William and Mary (nee Bennet) in Appleton, WI. After high school, Janet graduated with her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. She lived out her life ambition to be a teacher and taught for 36 years until retirement. Janet enjoyed knitting, crocheting, basket weaving, and beading jewelry. She loved animals, music, and reading. Janet especially enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those Janet leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Heather Uhlman and Matthew Uhlman; two grandchildren, Theodore Kane and Amirra Uhlman; a sister, Katherine (Marv) Herron; a brother, Larry (Gloria) Kane; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service in remembrance of Janet will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
