Jason T. Munch, 27, of West Bend, died Monday, June 26, 2000, in the town of Kewaskum.

He was born June 19, 1973, in Port Washington, to John Sr. and Sandra (Katon) Munch, and raised in West Bend.

He graduated from West Bend East High School in 1991, and later attended Waukesha Technical College for two years, receiving a degree in police science.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed golf.

On Aug. 30, 1997, he married Kristin Woyach in Milwaukee.

Survivors include his parents, John Sr. and Sandra Munch of West Bend; a daughter, Nina Munch of Milwaukee; maternal grandfather, Albert Katon of Ashland; a brother, John Jr. (Tina) of West Bend; two nephews, Zachery and Joey Munch of West Bend, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on June 29, at 7 p.m., at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend. Father Jeffrey Haines officiated, and cremation took place at Parkview Crematory, Fond du Lac.

Memorials are appreciated to his daughter's educational fund.
