Deceased in Satellite Beach, Florida in Spring 1970 from a motorcycle accident, while attending Florida Institute of Technology with Larry Anding.  He was a Michigan state winner in three motorcycle classes and riding a new Bultaco in the sand parallel to A1A.  Drive-by witnesses say that they saw him part from the bike in mid air.  He came down about 87 feet later with the horrible coincidence of the bike following him and coming down on his head.
