I remember Kip from grammar school and junior high. His older brother was something of a bad ass but. Kip was sweet and respectful. I remember in jr..high a boy hit me (no names mentioned) and Kip stood up to him and said if he ever came near me again he would be there to protect me. Sorry dear Kip so little is known of.your life after EHS.

Merrily and all, I was curious about Kip as well, I ran across this obit this morning. Way too many on the memory wall!

Christopher "Kip" Tunstall -

Christopher Tunstall, 57, of Upland died March 24, 2005 at home, surrounded with love from his family. He was a resident of Upland for 22 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Christopher was employed as a Home Improvement Specialist for the City of Ontario and thought all his co-workers were the greatest. He previously worked with the U.S. Forest Service , Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station and retired as Fire Chief of Corona Naval Warfare Assessment Station in 1998. He enjoyed life to its fullest and never met a stranger. He enjoyed being with family, friends, cooking, fishing, gardening and making everyone laugh. He is survived by his for- everloving wife of 35 years, Letha; his so loved and proud of beautiful children, Don and Brandi Tunstall, David, Timothy and Christopher "Boo Boo" Cress; His April Lilly and his Daddy's Girl, Teresa Tunstall. His precious loves were his grandsons, Ariah Cookingham, Isaiah, Brandon and Logan. He is also survived by his loving brothers, "Sweet William" Bill, Kim and Clark Tunstall; two beautiful sisters, Dallas Gilpin, Holly Irwin and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday, April 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 9185 Monte Vista Ave., Montclair, CA. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West "G" St., Ontario, CA. Inland Memorial of Upland assisted the family.
