Sr Maureen Patrick Dorr,OSF (Faculty -Theology)

It is with great sadness that we learned of Sr. Maureen Patrick Dorr's passing. Not only did Sr. Maureen shape our lives during our formidable years, but she continued to be an inspiration to many throughout her life. She truly radiated love and brought peace to the souls of all she touched.

From Sr. Stella:

"Maureen Crossed over Oct. 1, 2015.  Know that she loved us all ...her first class at SJB. She always spoke lovingly of that wonerful first year of 1966-67!  I know that we will remember her lovingly as well.

From her vigil service:

Grieve not...nor speak of me with tears...but laugh and talk of me , as though I were beside you. I loved you so..."twas heaven here with you.

...and as she always ended a conversation...

"CHERRIO!"

I remember her name and face so well, but can't remember the subject she taught ! May she rest in the peace of her risen Lord.

I remember that first year Religion class well.  Sister Maureen always greeted us with that wonderful smile. It was a pleasure to have encountered her at that time in my life.  May she rest in peace.

I'll always remember Sister Maureen as a joy. I don't know if I ever saw here without a smile on her face.  She was incredibly tolerant of a very immature Bob Paine during freshman year and remained a friend throughout her stay at SJB. Rest in Peace Sister Maureen Patrick.
