I knew Kevin back to Gramma School.  I still remember in 8th Grade our classroom was in a small room overlooking Wellwood Avenue - we were demonstrating our science experiments.  He poured gasolie in pan and lit it..  it made a huge flame and he doused water on it to demonstrate that water did not put it out..  the pan was on the window and someone from the fire department came running over..  I don't remember anything else... The things we survived from our early years would be hard to believe.

Mary Curran (Curran-Downey)

On one of the very first days of freshman year, Kevin said we'd get to know each other over the four years that I sat in from of him (alphabetically, Curran comes just before Cusak.) And he was right. I remember a nice, easygoing guy who had a ready smile for everyone. Thanks for being there over the years, Kevin. And peace to your family.
