Sandra Ann Batorsky, age 72, of St. Augustine, passed away on May 12, 2024 at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Sandra was born on December 01, 1952 in Bayshore, NY to parents Walter and Lillian (Lyons) Pabst. Sandra grew up in Bayshore and met her husband to be, Leroy Batorsky, while getting her car repaired at a shop where Leroy was a mechanic. After a brief courtship, Leroy married Sandra in 1972. The couple settled in Sayville, New York where Sandra raised a family of 2 daughters and worked as a teachers aide. She also assisted her husband helping with the administration in his Welding business. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sayville. She had been a resident of St. Augustine for the past year. More than anything Sandra loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Britton Batorsky. She is survived by her daughters, Lora Batorsky of St. Augustine, FL, Jennifer Sharkey of Furlong, Pa.; grandchildren, Liam, Matthew, Keira, Shea, Gracen; and her beloved Yorkie, "Missy" .
