Chuck died in Newtown, PA in 1991. He had legally changed his name to Spinner. He was survived by his wife Karen and his two daughters Kristin and Colleen. He graduated from St. Vincents College in Latrobe, PA and then practiced podiatry for several years. He was diagnosed with Steinert's desease, a type of muscular dystrophy, several years before passing. He was a great friend to Thomas Weber for many years.

It was terribly sad to hear about Chuck's passing. He was a great guy and loyal friend. What makes it even sadder is that I lived in nearby Holland PA at the same time Chuck was in Newtown and my wife knew Chuck from St. Mary's hospital but was unaware it was the same Chuck from St. John's. Long live the Brothers Beautiful.
