Donald J. Carbone, 54, passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011. Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains, N.J. He lived in West Milford, N.J., before moving to Pequannock, N.J., 14 years ago. Donald was employed by PSE&G for over 25 years. He was an avid golfer and diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed riding his Harley and watching NASCAR. Donald was the beloved father of his daughter, Kendra. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donald Carbone Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Lakeland Bank, 1943 Union Valley Rd., Hewitt, N.J. 07421.
