I was sad to have heard this morning that Catherine had past. I am glad to have been able; like many to reconnect with her during our 30th reunion and to have been able to share a limo ride that day. Her family and friends have posted many wonderful things about Catherine. I hope we all will take the time to read and remember our friend and classmate.
I never really knew Catherine in school .The only reason I started and maintained an email correspondence with her was because of this web site. I'm glad I got to know what little I learned about her through these messages. Rest in Peace Friend.
I feel very fortunate to have connected with Cathy this past year. I will hold close the many e-mails and messages between us close to my heart. She is one lovely and beautiful lady. Her spirit was strong and I feel honored to call her a friend. No doubt, heaven made room for another angel!
Catherine and I grew up across the street from one another. Although we took separate paths, it wasn't until five years ago that I realized just how passionate she was for her classmates and for the reunions we were able to share. When I started this class reunion journey, she was the very first to respond. Whenever plans were to be made to reunite classmates, she was the first to volunteer. Cathy embraced every moment to reconnect with us and opened her heart when she announced her cancer to us.
She will be missed by her family and friends. The class of 1978 adds another angel to God's kingdom....
