Rich was one of the most athletic young man I have ever known. He left many of us with good memories. It is hard to understand why his life was cut so short at such a young age.

I knew Richie from Edison Jr. High School, as well as WOHS. He was interested in learning, a hard working student, and a very athletic young man. He was polite and friendly. After graduation, I worked in an insurance company with his sister Patti. Richie contracted a rare lung disease and passed away in 1964/65. I am sorry that he was taken so young and did not have the same chance at life that we have all had.         But I do have fond memories of the time that I knew him. Richie, you are missed. Laurie

Richie had it all...smart, a good athlete and a natural leader.  He had so much to live for and his passing...at such a young age and the first one from the WOHS Class of 1963...was a big blow to all of us.  Thanks, Laraine and Jim for sharing your memories with us.
