Michael Patrick Manning, of Greenacres, FL, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2013 at the age of 61. Born in England, he was the son of George and Mary Manning. Michael graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in 1969 and began his career as a Fire-Medic with the Palm Beach County Fire Department in 1975, retiring in 2005. His last post was at Station 81 at Palm Beach International Airport. When not helping others as a Fire-Medic, he enjoyed photography, gardening, and reading. Left to cherish Michael's memory is his beloved wife of 12 years, Judy Caldwell-Manning; siblings, Mary Pat Connift, Alice Horrigan, George Manning, Kathy Glaesner, Margaret Jones, Eileen Strickland, Ann Dorow and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Judy requests donations made to Palm Beach County Firefighters Benevolence Fund and sent to 405 Pike Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33411-3815.
