Sixth Grade at Saint Juliana's Grade School brought us together. Your parents, sister Sylvia, and the Cunninghams kept us together to the end! Your laughter, even at sadness will remain a Gift. Peace.
Estella was one of my first Cuban friends to come to St Juliana’s. What a personality! We spent time at Breslers Ice Cream , singing in the choir and listening to the Beatles. Went through High School and both worked at South Olive Elementary School together. Estella you will be missed by many and we are all blessed to have had you in our lives. Rest in Peace❤️
Estella was much loved by our dear friend Mickey Oenbrink, who passed away almost exactly a year earlier than Estella. They lived together for many years until Estella needed full time care, which Mickey arranged. Rest In Peace, sweet Estella.
Estella was such a happy and fun girl. We spent lots to afternoons together after school at St Julianna’s. I’m pretty sure that we got into trouble. She loved her Cuban culture and taught me to love it too. She and Mickey were a team, I hope she is resting in peace now. Cariños
Estelita, It's hard to believe you are gone. We go way back to grade school at St. Juliana's with memories of choir, Girl Scouts, dancing and spending time at your house after school with your beautiful mother trying to teach me Spanish. You introduced me to Guava and Cuban crackers, which I still love to this day. We will all miss your contagious smile. You can now rest peacefully. I know you and Mickey are together again! We love you, Estella!
