Thank you, Janice, for letting us know about Jim's passing.
He was a very special person - I have known him since we were 14 years old. He was a kind, caring and spiritual man. He helped many people as a professional psychologist - including me. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know him. I believe we are here on earth as angels having a human experience and Jim was indeed an angel. May God bless his soul - and his wife and daughter as well.

Aloha, Jimmy! Never Goodbye!

I am thinking of old times.  CYO Dances and Plays, you were such a ham! Anne Marie, your first love and Frank, your nemisis. Your Volkswagon Beetle that we had such fun in until we rolled it at Jonathan Dickensen Park, with Julie Geary in the backseat, over and over we went! Then we all had to walk (limp) back 2 miles to explain to our chaperones at the picnic what the heck happened!  The CYO convention at the Fountainbleau Hotel, are you sure we were "Good Catholic" Kids?.  Going to our Senior Prom together, magical, if only for a night! Even though we went on separate paths to our adulthood, you are and always remain an inspiration and a Nice Boy with a Big Smile and Big Dreams!  Your family is proud of you and I am forever grateful to say I knew you and had a chance to see what a remarkable man you became.

Keep them laughiing in Heaven and we will all get together again eventually.

Forever on my mind,

Jane Ellen McManus

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing.  My condolences go to his wife and daughter.  I know they will miss him so.  I will always remember how  kind and friendly Jim was  to me as a newcomer to Newman. Coming in the middle of my junior year was difficult and Jim was one of the people who made that transition much easier.  My God bless Jim's family as they go through this difficult season of their lives.
