Esther M. Borchert, 42, of Cherry Valley Borough, Butler County, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 14, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Grove City June 22, 1965, she was the daughter of Esther Rader Shelatree of Boyers and the late Merle E. Shelatree who passed away Oct. 30, 2006.

She was Protestant by faith.

Esther was a 1983 graduate of Moniteau High School.

She worked on the Borchert farm in many capacities and served as bookkeeper for the finances of the farm for many years.

She also was employed at Sheetz in Harrisville for a number of years, and was employed at Country Fair in Saegertown at the time of her passing.

Esther served as borough secretary for Cherry Valley Borough for several years.

Surviving are her mother, Esther Rader Shelatree of Boyers; two sisters, Amy Bailey and her husband, Richard, of Hilliards, and Betty Reese and her husband, John, of Eau Claire; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Burial in Eau Claire Cemetery.
