GALLANT, Douglas Arthur It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Douglas Arthur Gallant, at the age of sixty-seven years, on December 5, 2014 in Vernon, British Columbia. Doug was born June 26, 1947 in Vancouver, British Columbia. For many years he worked for BC Hydro and after retiring from there he worked for Aerial Contracting. In later years he was an avid golfer. Doug will be forever loved and missed by his wife Marianne Gallant, daughter Teresa Gallant and son Kenneth Gallant. There will be an informal celebration of life at Sir Winstons Pub upstairs (2705 32nd Street, Vernon) Friday December 12, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Dougs memory to the BC Cancer Foundation (399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 5L3).
