Candy passed away June 25, 2007 of "transitional cell carcinoma" - kidney. Graham H. Robins, class of 1964 had been married to Candy since Novembe 1969. Almost 38 years. They have 2 children, a girl and a boy. At the time of her passing, they had 2 married children and 2 grandchildren, a girl and a boy, from daughter Niki. There are now 6 grandchildren. Four from son Graham, 2 girls and 2 boys.
I am in Mauritius which is in the Indian Ocean right now as we lived here for 10 years. Graham, Candy's husband came here with my Mother just 2 months after Candy's passing and we spent a month together. He certainly still misses her after their life together and is still now on his own. She was a great girl and his 2 kids took Graham to Mexico for his "70th" birthday, just the 3 of them...
Sister, Robin lives in San Diego and has for 40 years.
I am still in Vancouver for half the year, just really can't handle the grey anymore.....
Hi, Penny. I was very sorry to hear about Candy. She was a wonderful girl and it brings back fond memories of the fun we all used to have together on the beach up at Redrooffs. It sounds like you are doing well and enjoying the good life in the sun. All the best.

Hi Penny, I remember all of you fondly and was sorry to hear about Candy. I had hoped you would have been able to attend the reunion ..it was a wonderful catch up with old friends . You sound like you are enjoying life and if you are ever in Vancouver with time to spare it would be fun to see you ...though at this stage of life it is challenging to pin down dates that work . I am still in West Van but like so many , travel options find us away more than home ...fingers crossed our good health and luck continue to hold for a few more years! Cheers, Rika
