Trish Turner died in a car accident June 30, 1997. I couldn't find an obituary for her but I did find an interview she did for BCTV when she was 29. The video was shot at Ambleside Beach.

Here's the video descriptor from a Russian site (on which the link to the video appears broken).

Here's the video descriptor, written by Trish's sister.

"Interview with Trish Turner by BCTV in 1977. The year was 1977; I got a weekend job at BCTV. I suggested to the weekend Producer we do a story on my sister Trish for the following Sunday. The story was a single woman travelling to South America by herself. She was interviewed by Susan Jasper a reporter/writer at the time (very similar to what Alex is doing). We shot it down at Ambleside beach in West Vancouver. There were three tapes. One was Trish and Susan walking on the beach. Tape two is the interview. Tape three was re-asks – Shots of the reporter asking questions. This video is the interview. Tape 1 is lost and Tape 3, the reasks has a technical problem. Trish is 29 years old. NOTE:For those who are viewing this tape and don't know Trish and her family: Trish went on to marry Marty Spencer, who she met on her South American trip. They have three children together : Nicole, Laura and Justine."
