Chris Carl

Recently got a call from justin macdevitt and bill O'Reilly on the passing of our friend chris carl. chris gew up on patience lane and resided there after his divorce for many years. i was in most of chris's classes both at bowling green and in high school.because of him i met many of the guys that grew up in the P section and we played sports after school. we went to many ranger ice hockey games together and also christmas time went to college hockey games at the old madison square garden. when chris was a senior in high school he threw a no-hitter for the varsity baseball team. won't mention how many walks he gave up, but he won the game. chris was a handome kid and would tease him that he loooked like the actor tab hunter. chris was one of my first friends to get married and also one of the first to get divorced. chris became a recluse and i would go by his house when i was home visiting and he would not answer the door or pick up his phone. he probably died from a heart attack and lonely. a neigbor had not seen any life going on in his home and called the police. the result was not good.it was a very sad day when i got the news and i just want to let chris know i thought of him often. rest peacefully my friend with your parents and your brother by your side.
